How payouts work
Send money to a bank account, a multi-currency wallet, or a partner platform anywhere BOF Pay operates. Most payouts settle the same business day, many settle within minutes, and BOF Pay uses local payment rails wherever possible to keep fees low and delivery times short. SWIFT is available for less-common corridors.
One payment or a thousand
Single payouts
Pay any beneficiary in 40+ currencies. Saved recipients, prefilled details, and instant confirmation.
Bulk payouts
Upload a CSV or push through the API to pay hundreds or thousands of recipients in one operation.
Recurring schedules
Set up automated payroll, contractor retainers, or subscription disbursements to run on the cadence you choose.
Approval workflows
Configure multi-signer authorization for payments above a threshold, with full audit history.
Payment methods and rails
Where local rails are available, BOF Pay uses them: ACH in the US, SEPA across the eurozone, Faster Payments in the UK, Interac in Canada, BPAY in Australia, and others. For corridors where local rails are not practical, BOF Pay uses SWIFT or, increasingly, stablecoin settlement for faster cross-border movement. The choice is made automatically based on the destination, amount, and your urgency, or you can override it.
Beneficiary management
Save recipients once, pay them many times. Each saved beneficiary keeps their bank details, KYC information, and full payment history in one place. Add notes, tag by category, and grant team members access to the recipients they need without exposing the whole list.
Approvals and authorization
Configure rules that match how your business operates. Set thresholds requiring a second approver, restrict payment initiation to specific roles, or require dual sign-off on all payouts above a defined amount. Every action is logged, with timestamps and the identity of the user who took it.
Confirmation and tracking
Every payout has a real-time status: queued, in progress, settled, or failed. Recipients can be notified by email when their payment arrives, with the option to include a custom message. Failed payouts return clear reason codes so you can correct and resend without guesswork.
Common use cases
BOF Pay payouts are used for international payroll across distributed teams, supplier and vendor settlements, contractor and freelancer payments, customer refunds, marketplace seller disbursements, and treasury rebalancing between subsidiaries. Whether you send ten payments a month or ten thousand, the same platform handles both.
Getting started
Single payouts are available to all BOF Pay customers. Bulk and recurring payouts, advanced approval workflows, and API access require business account onboarding. Contact info@bofpay.ai or sign up through the app to start.
