This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are prohibited on BOF Pay. It supplements our Terms of Service. Violation may result in account suspension or closure, reversal or seizure of funds (where required by law), and reporting to authorities.
1. Prohibited activities
You may not use the Services in connection with:
- Illegal activity of any kind, including fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, human trafficking, child sexual abuse material, modern slavery, or trade in stolen goods.
- Transactions involving sanctioned countries, regions, individuals, or entities.
- The production or distribution of weapons, including firearms, ammunition, explosives, and dual-use items requiring export controls.
- Unlicensed gambling, lotteries, or sports betting.
- Unlicensed sale of regulated substances, including narcotics, controlled medications, and tobacco.
- Adult content involving minors, non-consensual content, or content that violates applicable law.
- Pyramid or Ponzi schemes, "get-rich-quick" schemes, unregistered securities offerings, or other deceptive financial products.
- Intellectual-property infringement, including the sale of counterfeit goods.
- Cryptocurrency mixers, tumblers, or anonymity-enhancing services designed to obscure the origin of funds.
- Activity that infringes the privacy or rights of others, including doxxing, stalking, or harassment.
2. Restricted activities (require prior approval)
Some otherwise lawful activities require prior written approval from BOF Pay before you use the Services for them, including: cryptocurrency exchanges and OTC desks; precious-metals dealers; high-volume remittance corridors; correspondent-banking arrangements; and adult-content businesses operating lawfully in their jurisdiction.
3. Technical and security restrictions
- No attempts to bypass security, rate limits, or transaction screening.
- No scraping, automated access, or reverse engineering except as expressly permitted.
- No introduction of malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
- No use of the Services to send unsolicited communications (spam).
4. Reporting violations
To report a suspected violation, email info@bofpay.ai. We investigate reports promptly and confidentially.
5. Enforcement
BOF Pay may, at its sole discretion and where consistent with applicable law, suspend or close accounts, reject or reverse transactions, retain funds pending investigation, and report violations to regulators or law enforcement. We may update this AUP at any time.
